About Keith and Souza Financial Group, LLC

Keith is one of those rare individuals who always knew what he wanted to do when he grew up. At just 17 years old, he began reading The Wall Street Journal and mapping out his future. When he started his career in banking, Keith set a bold goal: to become an investment professional by the age of 35. He exceeded that ambition, achieving his dream at 25. By the time he turned 35, he had founded his own investment firm, Souza Financial Group.

Born and raised in Danville, Illinois, Keith attended Danville Lutheran, Danville High School, and Danville Area Community College. He later earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. After gaining valuable experience in banking, he transitioned to the investment industry, starting his career at Edward Jones, where he successfully managed two offices. He then became a Branch Manager for A.G. Edwards & Sons, where he oversaw growth to over $100 million in assets. In April 2006, Keith took the leap to establish his own firm, Souza Financial Group.

Keith is married to Jennifer, and together they have a son, Truce. After Truce was diagnosed with autism in 2005, Keith and Jennifer became passionate advocates for Autism Awareness.

Outside of work, Keith is an avid fan of the Cleveland Guardians/Indians and the Chicago Blackhawks. He enjoys golf, cigars, technology, and traveling.

Keith has always been deeply involved in his community. He has served as President, Treasurer, and Secretary of the Danville Rotary Club and has held leadership roles as Chairman of The Boys & Girls Club of Danville, Vermilion County Crimestoppers, and Keep Vermilion County Beautiful. During his term as an alderman for the City of Danville, Keith chaired the Finance Committee. He has also served on various local boards, including the Vermilion Heritage Foundation (Fisher Theatre), Danville Symphony Orchestra, Mental Health 708 Board, and the DACC Foundation Futures Campaign.
